We took the pictures from out of our drawers Three years photographing, one idea present in our minds. That is how we began this work. How could we go further with a work that had been elaborated in this period of time? The first step was to discuss the possible reasons not to start working, so we dusted ourselves off and did what we had to do, started working seriously. Three months later we finished the job that in the beginning seemed impossible. Rice and Beans, for us, is much more than a book. During its development we realized that we could go beyond, and lead people’s thoughts to a different stage of consciousness. We don’t think it’s possible to question the sentimental power of photgraphy. That’s the way we drove this work, we wanted to show people the real thing, we didn’t mean just to provok but to re-arrange our expressions. Globally available it has now become something solid and present. The Space We would like to gather and help people who are interested in capture new perspectives of our society, letting this space open for advertising other works that just like ours bring up a sense of reality.
