About the book

The book tells the story of millions of Brazilians that live in sub-human conditions, these people are the real picture of the Brazilian reality which is constantly being hid by the minority that holds the power.

It’s got images that were taken after observing the everyday life in many different places while travelling through the states of Brazil. This book is a result of the co-work between Guilherme Meneghelli and Walter José Borba Neto who selected pictures of their profiles to make this dream come true.

All the pictures are in black and white, which shows the perspective of the authors for this kind of photographic expression. The images are followed by texts that represent their idea of each picture.
